VIGAN CITY – The Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC)-Ilocos Sur Chapter in coordination with the Provincial Health Office (PHO) recently sponsored a one-day orientation seminar for core disseminators on the prevention and control of bird flu otherwise known as the Avian influenza.
The purpose of this one-day orientation seminar, according to PNRC Administrator Ma. Julia P. Amigable, is to equip the participants with valuable knowledge about the Avian flu, a form of infectious disease caused by migratory birds and domestic fowls.
