Vigan City Council approves P5.6-M supplemental budget

VIGAN CITY – The City Council has approved during its  regular session the allocation of P5.6 million supplemental budget of the city government here.

Councilor Loreto Quibilan, committee on finance and appropriation chair, said Appropriation Ordinance No. 5, allocating P5,598,170.94 supplemental budget for the different department offices of the city government was approved by the Sangguniang Panlungsod during its session last Dec. 4.

The following are the allocated  supplemental budget of the different department offices of the city government:

Personnel Services :  additional compensation allowance – P2,540,385; extra cash gift – P2,235,200.00;

Sangguniang Panlungsod: advertising expenses – P170,000; communication expenses – P50,000; representation expenses – P47,100.00; telephone expenses (landline) – P40,000.00; miscellaneous expenses – 50,000; capital outlay – P332,000.00;

Office of the Vice Mayor: MOOE – repair and maintenance of motor vehicles – P20,000; other maintenance and operating expenses – P30,000; Representation Expenses – P20,000; capital outlay – P50,000; 5.

Office of the Mayor: MOOE- representation expenses – P100,000; gasoline, oil and lubricant – P100,000; telephone expenses (Mobile) – P100,000;

Public Information Division: – (personal services and year- end bonus – P494,000;

Office of the City Assessor: RATA – P600,000;

Office of the City Treasurer: RATA – P600,000;

Office of the City Accountant: capital outlay – P100,000;

Office of City Budget Officer: capital outlay – P50,000;

Office of  the PNP: gasoline, oil and lubricant – P200,000;

Office of the City Engineer: gasoline, oil and lubricant – P200,000;

Human Resources Management Office: year-end bonus – P36,000; cash gift – P40,000;

City Veterinarian’s Office: capital outlay – P13,000;

General Service Office: gasoline, oil and lubricant – P1,904,523.82; repair and maintenance of office vehicles – P200,000; electrical expenses – P1,782,498.10;

Non-Office Expenditures: loan outlay – P238,640.18; scholarship fund – P108,848.68; agricultural fund – P108,848.68; tourism, cultural program – P108,848.68; livelihood and employment generation program – P108,848.68; improvement of parks and plazas – P150,000; maintenance of public facilities – P550,000; tourism, cultural and conservation program – P548,000.
