Cops children given educational assistance

SAN FERNANDO CITY –Three children of a policeman here were given educational assistance by the police regional office here.

Police Chief Supt. Leopoldo N. Bataoil, regional director, said the PPO1 has provided educational assistance to the three children of SPO1 Villamor Evangelista in line with the PRO-1’s flagship program, “Edukasyon Mo Sagot Ko” to deserving children of PNP personnel.

Bataoil said Evangelista’s children, Vanessa, Mark Banjo, and Vivian Gaile, were chosen because they have excelled in their studies and are SPED fast learners.

The three pupils are studying at Minien-Tebag Elementary School in Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan.

“This is just a simple approach to help our lowly-paid policemen provide better education to their children who are deserving and excellent in their classes,” Bataoil said.

Bataoil also added that the “Edukasyon Mo Sagot Ko” Program is extended to deserving indigent pupils wherein every police station in the region has one scholar in the elementary school.
