CONNECTICUT, USA—Pre-trial hearings have began for the upcoming litigation of an Iranian-American accused of repeatedly stabbing to death a Filipino-American pharmacist.
Filipino-American Anna Lisa Raymundo was allegedly murdered by New York-based Sheila Davallo in 2002, and the suspect is set for trial in the coming days at the Stamford Superior Court.
After Davallo was arrested in 2008, police suspect a love triangle was happening especially since Davallo was dumped by research scientist Nelson Sesseler in favor of Raymundo.
The Filipino Reporter also wrote: “Among the evidence against Davalloo are the security video at Purdue Pharma showing Davalloo left the Pharma property shortly before 11am the day of the murder, DNA from bloodstains found on a bathroom faucet handle matching Davalloo and Raymundo, and the anonymous call tipping off police made from a pay phone about half a mile from the murder scene is consistent with Sheila Davalloo’s voice.” Source: http://www.ofwjournalism.net/article/category/news-flash/
