According to the National Academy of Sciences, children and even adults should drink 24 oz. of milk everyday because it is a complete and ideal food for it contgains most of the principles of a well-balanced diet.
As we grow older, we should not think that we no longer need milk. We are never too old to reap the rewards of a drinking milk as it is a great source of vitamins such as vitamin A, D, and B12, thiamine, riboflavin and niacin; nutrients such as carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, and minerals such as calcium, phosphorous, sodium and potassium.
