Milk makes the baby’s skin soft, supple and glowing

Have you ever wondered why the baby’s skin is soft, supple and glowing? That’s because milk has lactic acid which can act as an exfoliant and enzymes to help smooth the skin. It has also amino acids that help keep the skin moisturized. Milk also helps prevent damage to the skin caused by environmental toxins becuase it has anti-oxidants.

Drinking milk is a great way to remove stress at the end of the day. A glass of warm milk helps one to relax his tense muscles and sooth frayed nerves.

According to the National Academy of Sciences, children and even adults should drink 24 oz. of milk everyday because it is a complete and ideal food for it contgains most of the principles of a well-balanced diet.

As we grow older, we should not think that we no longer need milk. We are never too old to reap the rewards of a drinking milk as it is a great source of vitamins such as vitamin A, D, and B12, thiamine, riboflavin and niacin; nutrients such as carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, and minerals such as calcium, phosphorous, sodium and potassium.
