3 cops cited for nabbing murder, homicide suspect in Marikina

CAMP BGEN OSCAR M FLORENDO – Police Chief Superintendent Ricardo C. Marquez, Police Regional Office 1 regional director, commended three policemel for the successful arrest of a suspect for the crime of frustrated murder and homicide with the use of unlicensed firearm during the traditional Monday flag raising ceremony here this morning (Oct. 7).

Police Chief Supt. Marquez presented the Medalya ng Papuri to Police Chief Inspector June S. Galingan, Police Officer 3 Jesus C. Andaya, and PO2 Jonathan V. Domingo, members of Binalonan Municipal Police Station in Pangasinan.

The three were instrumental in the apprehension of Ernesto Sampayan, 63, married, who was arrested at Buffalo St., Rancho 4, Concepcion Dos, Marikina City last July 31, 2013 by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by  Judge Tita Rodriguez Villarin of Regional Trial Court Branch 46, Urdaneta City.

“This accomplishment is a demonstration of the personnel’s collective effort particularly in the accounting of wanted persons and service of warrants thereby contributing in sustaining PRO1’s honor and pride as “Home of the Citizen Friendly Policeman and Protector of Human Rights”, Marquez stressed. #
