The radio drama program Katumbas ay Biyaya (Nutrition in Emergencies episode) won the Best Public Service Program in the 26th Golden Dove Awards of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) held on May 29, 2018 at the Ceremonial Hall, Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.
Katumbas ay Biyaya is a 30-minute radio program that tackles nutrition and health related topics and is aired over DZRH (666KHz) every Saturday, 10:30 – 11:00 am. The radio program is hosted by Assistant Secretary of Health and Executive Director Bernie Flores and radio broadcaster Rey Sibayan.
The program includes a 10-minute dramatization of various nutrition and related concerns followed by discussion on the featured topic by a resource person from the NNC and broadcaster Rey Sibayan. The radio show also includes an on-air contest through SMS to get feedback from listeners by answering the question relating to the topic discussed.

Nutrition Officer IV of the Nutrition Information and Education Division Malou Enteria and Executive Assistant Paul John Garcia accepted the award on behalf of the hosts.
“Patuloy po ang aming pagbibigay ng impormasyon sa nutrisyon na tama, napapanahon, at makabuluhan sa pamamagitan ng platform na drama at talakayan para patuloy na mapabuti ang kalagayang pang-nutrisyon ng bawat Pilipino. Thank you very much!” Enteria said in her acceptance speech.
The KBP Golden Dove Awards are given by the KBP to honor and “encourage excellence and high professional standards in the broadcast media as well as to promote more responsible broadcasting.”
