K.A.P.P.I.A CLASSROOM

The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 1 of the Philippine National Police turned over to the local government of Quirino, Ilocos Sur, the newly constructed classroom building in Patungcaleo Elementary School, Brgy. Patungcaleo, on November 21, 2019. The turn-over ceremony was attended by Police Brigadier General Joel Sabio Orduña, PRO1 Regional Director, Police Colonel Nathaniel Villegas, Force Commander, RMFB1, Quirino, Ilocos Sur Mayor Allen Nimo, School Administrator and faculty and other locals. The construction of the K.A.P.P.I.A Classroom is a part of the unit’s best practice called KAPPIA (layman’s term for peace) which stands for Kalusagan Alay ng Pulis Para sa Iyong Anak. The said project was conceptualized in order to provide food supplement to selected pupils in different schools especially in the far flung areas but later on emerged to address the educational challenges in the said schools.
