CAMP BGEN OSCAR M FLORENDO- The new Regional Executive Senior Police Officer (RESPO) of Region 1 police formally assumed his office after the ceremonial turn-over held at the Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) grandstand here on July 23.
Police Chief Superintendent Roman A. Felix, Regional Director of PRO1 chose Senior Police Officer 4 John De Vera Crisostomo as RESPO replacing SPO4 Raul T. Legaspi who is retiring from the police service.
In his assumption speech, SPO4 Crisostomo said he has accepted the challenges that his present position may bring and that he will focus his leadership on inculcating discipline to spell the quality of service expected from a police officer.
“Let us be united and embrace in full potential our duties and responsibilities and efficiently drive our goals towards the attainment of a roaring success,” he said.
SPO4 Crisostomo likewise expressed the importance of teamwork. “We will work as one team with one vision and let our people feel na ang pulis ay pulis na hindi matulis, kundi pulis na para sa public service,” he added.
The newly designated RESPO also gave assurance to his fellow Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs) that he is ever ready to help in times of difficulties and conflicts in their works.
Furthermore, he appealed to all Chief Clerks and PNCOs to continue the support and cooperation they have extended to the outgoing RESPO to achieve the regional director’s expectations and truly attain a capable, effective and credible police force.
SPO4 Crisostomo likewise expressed his gratitude to the regional director for giving the trust and confidence in leading the PNCOs of PRO1.#
