After proper documentation at the local police station, Abuan was subsequently turned-over to intelligence operatives of PRO1.
Abuan is facing charges of illegal possesion of firearms with criminal case number T-1948 and rape with homicide with CC no. T-1949 issued by Judge Ulysses R. Butuyan of Branch 51, Regional Trial Court, Tayug, Pangasinan.
Abuan is listed among the region’s top most wanted persons with a monetary reward of P200,000.00 approved under DILG Memorandum Circular Number 2006-146.
“I commend the effort exerted by our personnel in this accomplishment as it is one of our positive steps to ensure secure and fair elections and to give justice to the victims,” Marquez said.

In the 90’s, Abuan was reportedly seen several times in the company of members of the “Pogito Group”, a criminal group engaged in gun for hire, illegal drug trade and carnapping activities operating in the province of Pangasinan and nearby provinces of Central Luzon.#
