PRO1, NAPOLCOM-RO1 personnel plant 100 fruit trees in culmination of PCR Month Celebration

CAMP BGEN OSCAR M FLORENDO- Personnel of PRO1 together with the employees of National Police Commission Regional Office 1 (NAPOLCOM-RO1) planted around 100 fruit tree seedlings around the camp of Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) as part of the culmination program of the Police Community Relations Month Celebration on July 31.

The tree planting activity was conducted after a simple program held at the PRO1 grandstand with NAPOLCOM-RO1 Assistant Regional Director Evangeline Almirante as guest speaker.

In her message, Almirante stressed the importance of harmonious relationship and partnership of the police and the community. She also encouraged every police to become not just an exceptional agent of peace but a driving force of development in his/her community.

Meanwhile, Police Senior Superintendent Rolie M. Saltat, PRO1 Regional Community Relations Chief, stressed the importance of harmonious relations with the community recognizing the public as a vital component in modern day policing.

He further encouraged his men to continue a more sound relationship with the members of the community and instill the importance of their existence and their role in nation-building and in crime prevention.

The theme for this year’s month-long celebration of the 19 PCR Month: “Pinaigting na Samahan ng Mamamayan at Pulisya Para sa Patuloy na Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran ng Sambayanan”.#
