SAN FERNANDO CITY – The PNP Regional Police Office and the Rotary Club here have launched the Search for the Outstanding Police in this region to recognize lawmen who have rendered excellent and outstanding achievements in the line of duty.
The search was launched at the PNP regional office here after a memorandum of agreement was signed by Police Chief Supt. Luizo Ticman, regional director, Jesus Nicdao, Governor of Rotary Club District 3790 and Jose Garcia, president of Rotary Club Sub-Urban East Rizal.
Ticman said the MOA includes a more cohesive crime prevention and civic projects that would help the police in the maintenance of peace and order in the region specifically the “Search for Outstanding Policemen of Region 1.
“I am delighted with the contribution of Rotary District 3790 in making this search possible in our region, and of course, paving a way for our deserving policemen to shine in a positive way,” Ticman added.
The search is open to all policemen assigned in Region 1 who have at least five years of active service, with good character, professional competence, selfless love and service to people, respect for authority, human rights and government laws, community involvement and loyalty to duty and country.
Ticman said the search is grouped into two categories: for non-commissioned police officers (NCOs) from police officers 1 to senior police officers 4 and for commissioned police officers (CPOs) from police inspectors to police superintendents.
The search for outstanding non-commissioned police officers excludes station commanders and chief of police.#
