SCHOOL HANDWASHING FACILITY. Vigan City gov’t personnel take measurements in preparation for the construction of a handwashing area at the Bulala Paratong Elementary School. Despite the challenges caused by the COVID-19 situation in the country, the Dept. of Education (DepEd) is optimistic that parents will enroll their children for the incoming school year in order not to disrupt their education. DepEd announced that it will comply with the directive of President Duterte to postpone face-to-face classes until a vaccine is available, but the department is also determined to push through with the school opening in August using blended or distance learning approach.
